Waiting for Condensation

Truth evaporates

just outside 

your ears

The canals

heavily guarded 

by justification

Armed well with 

old defenses, 

refusing truth’s

repeated attempts 

to enter

and forcing truth

to linger 

unwatched 

and unnoticed,

its molecules 

slowly escaping 

into the air

until only a 

hint of vapor 
remains
